Dorothy Mae Robinson Landy was born on June 8 ^th , 1942  to the late Cliff and Mary Bell Robinson, in Orangeburg County. She was married to Lawrence C. Landy Sr. (Wagener, SC) She departed this life on October 15, 2021.

Dorothy attended Goodwill and St. Paul schools located in Sawyerdale, SC. She was a faithful member of the Progressive Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Dorothy was preceded to death by her late husband: Lawrence C. Landy Sr.

Dorothy is survived by 3 daughters Cassandra Landy of Wagener, SC, Carolyn (Frank) Buckett of Wagener, SC, and Mary James of Aiken, SC; One son Lawrence (Gwenodolyn) Landy of Orangeburg, SC; one sister Essie L. Porter, one brother Cliff Robinson Sr. 4 sister-in-laws, Luerine Green, Ida M Landy of Aiken, SC, Mary Brown of Augusta, GA, and Maebell Landy ( Arthur ) of Columbia, SC, one Brother-in-law James Landy Aiken, SC; 9 Grandchildren, Alex, Daniel, Danielle, and Jeremy James, Shareka and Sabrina Buckett, Cliff and Fredrick Alewine, and Orenthial Key Keith. 4 Great Grands and a host of family and friends.
