Ms. Debra Ann Swedenburg was born on July 22, 1963, to the late James and Devon Swedenburg in Aiken County, SC. She peacefully transitioned on July 24, 2026. 

Debra attended Wagener-Salley High School and became a cherished member of Chalk Hill Baptist Church at a young age. In her earlier days, she proudly served on the Usher Board. 

A devoted Tyler Perry fan, Debra found joy in watching classic 70's sitcoms and loved the comedic skits of Kountry Wayne. She relished spending time with her family, making holidays and family reunions special occasions filled with laughter and love.

For over 30 years, she dedicated her work to Wagener Manufacturing Company, later working with ASCO in Aiken, SC, and eventually retiring from home health services. 

Debra was preceded in death by her beloved parents, James and Devon Swedenburg, her son, Keyshawn Johnson, and her sister, Sherry Ann Swedenburg.

She is survived by her children, Zedric Manzel Swedenburg and LaDebra Breann Johnson, both of Wagener, SC; her brother, James (Cathy)  Swedenburg Jr., of Ft. Myers, FL; and sisters, Cynthia M. Prescott and Jacqueline Swedenburg, both of Wagener, SC. Debra also leaves behind five cherished grandchildren: Zakavious Jacques Swedenburg, Kelton Rashawn Felder, Zedric Kordell Swedenburg, Kaison Zakur Kitchings, and Kingson Zakai Kitchings, along with a loving family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will deeply miss her. 

Debra Ann will be profoundly missed by all who knew her and experienced her warmth and kindness.
