Deborah Louise Collins was born July 5, 1952 to the late Robert Dupree and Ernestine Dillard in Little Rock, Arkansas. At an early age, Ms. Collins relocated to Los Angeles, California, where she grew up in a loving family home. Ms. Collins graduated from George Washington High School with a Business background. She eventually went on to graduate with her degree in Nursing. She worked as a RN for many years in the California Hospital System and very loved and respected by all of her colleagues and patients.
Ms. Collins relocated to Salley, SC in 2015. She became a member at God's Image Worship Center in North Augusta, SC, where she was often referred to as "Auntie." She always had a smile and gave her love to everyone she met. She truly made an impact on this earth and walked with God until he called her home.
Ms. Deborah Collins leaves to cherish her loving memories, her mother: Forestine Dupree, three children: Terry (Diana) Dupree, Terrill (Brianna) Barber, and Tanisha Collins. Seven siblings: Marjorie (Clinton) Gantt, Melodie Anderson, Brother Aaron, Maria (Rickey) Glenn, Deidra Dupree, Alvester (Coleen) Dupree, and Regina Dupree. Seven grandchildren: Shantell, Aireanna, Jazmine, Daniel, Damareae, Damarion, and Destini. Six nephews: Tony, Kevin, Ricky, Dmitri, Jamal, and Erin. Five nieces: Dominique, Danielle, Kimberly, Ashley, and DeAnna. A Special Friend: Marvin. A host of great-nieces and nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, relatives and friends.
Service Information
The Memorial Service for Deborah L. Collins will be October 28, 2017 at 2:00 pm at her son's (Terry Dupree) residence in Los Angeles, California. Elder Fredrick Gantt will be officiating.
