MS DAISY LEE (ISREAL) STEPHENS, 84, affectionately known as "Trotsie", was called home on October 16, 2011 after an extended illness. Daisy, born in Prosperity, SC, to the late Julius and Texanna Stephens. She was educated in the Newberry County School System and employed at the Lexington Medical Center Extended Care, formerly known as Rikard's Nursing Home. Daisy was a devoted member of the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Lexington, SC. Daisy was preceded in death by her foster parents, Leroy and Robertha Dominick. Daisy leaves to cherish her loving memories her ten children; Shirley Isreal, Leroy Isreal Jr., Emma Cook, Vera Isreal, Rebecca Isreal-Kearse, Ricky Isreal, Abram Isreal, Daisy Isreal-Nunez, Tony Isreal, all of Gilbert, SC, and Randolph Isreal from Seattle, WA. One sister, Willie Julia "Jute" Geiger, of Lexington; and one step-sister, Barbara Dominick-Buckley, of Wilmington, DE. Funeral services for Ms. Daisy Stephens will be Friday, October 21, 3:30 pm at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Lexington, SC with Pastor Belton officiating, and committal services to follow at the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
