Daisy A. Guyton Evans was born December 5, 1946 to the late Jacob and Willie Mae Cullum Guyton. On October 20, 2021 Daisy answered the call of our Heavenly Father and peacefully entered into her eternal rest surrounded by her loving family. She was married to the late Edward S. Evans.

Daisy was a member of Baughmanville Missionary Baptist Church where she served faithfully as a Choir Member, Ushers Ministry and assisted in many other capacities.

Daisy attended the Aiken County Public Schools and was a graduate of A.L. Corbett High School, Wagener, South Carolina. She continued her education and received her college degree in early childhood education. She worked many years for the Aiken-Barnwell County Head start Program from which she retired.

Daisy leaves to cherish her memory: daughter Towanda L. Evans, son, Karl S. Evans; brothers, Rufus Guyton (Washington, DC), Reverend Eugene (Bettye) Guyton (Wagener, SC); sisters, Lucille G Simmons (Jamaica, NY), Elizabeth E. Penn (Aiken, SC), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
