Craig Wesley Edwards was born February 1, 1977, to the late William "Taft" Edwards, Sr. & Leona Edwards in Augusta, Georgia. He departed this earthly journey to transition to his eternal home on April 23, 2023.
Craig was married to the love of his life, Chandra Wigfall-Edwards. He was educated in the public schools of Aiken County where he attended A.L. Corbett Middle School and became a proud graduate of Wagener-Salley High School class of 1997. He was currently employed at Shaw Industries, Aiken, SC.
Craig joined Sardis Baptist Church at an early age. He was also a member of the male group, Greater Purpose as he loved to sing. He continued to embrace his religion commitment throughout his life. Aside from his love for singing and religious beliefs, Craig was a devoted PaPa and enjoyed playing and spending quality time with his precious grandchildren. He also loved football and was a die-hard Pittsburg Steelers' fan. Craig was a lover of music; therefore, he enjoyed listening to all different types of genres.
Craig was preceded by his father, William "Taft" Edwards, Sr., his brothers, William Edwards, Jr., Leon Edwards, and his godparents, Leola and Gene Brown. Craig leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Chandra Wigfall-Edwards. Children: Anthony (Rachel) Wigfall, Shaqkera (Donte) Williams, and Christopher Jaylen Graham . Grandchildren: Ameilia and Ava Wigfall, and Charli and Dakari Williams. Mother, Leona Edwards. Sister-in-law, Elaine Edwards. Aunts: Nettie Edwards, Eva (Gene) Mckie, and Vonnie Edwards. Godbrother, Eric Brown. A host of uncles and aunts, brother and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom will all miss him dearly.
