Charles Mavins Sr. , son of the late C.D. and Rosa Lee Mavins was born on August 19, 1956 and moved on to his heavenly home on March 17, 2019  Charles was a graduate of Pelion High School in Lexington County South Carolina and was a man of many trades.

Charles was preceded in death by his son, Jermaine L. Mavins; his brothers Eddie L. Scott and Roy Mavins, Sr.,  and his sister Christa Bell Fogle.

Those left to cherish the life shared with Charles are his loving and devoted wife, Delores Mavins;children Patricia (Jumar) Posey, Charlet (Brandon) Barnes, Charles Mavins Jr., Teresa Mavins, Johnathan Mavins, Marvin Mavins & Chanta Mavins all of Pelion, SC; A loving sister, Eartha Mae (Johnny Lee) Austin of Pelion, SC; Sisters in laws Mary (Clyde) Smith, Edna Phillips all of Pelion, SC,  Annette Tolen of Trenton, SC and Joann Stroman of West Columbia, SC; Brothers in laws Carl Phillips, Bobby D. (Patricia) Phillips, and Willie L. Fogle all of Pelion, SC; 18 precious grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, and host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
