Carrie L. Cannon was born 88 years ago on May 26, 1924 in Leesville, SC. She was the seventh of nine children born to the late John Cannon and the late Hattie M. Cannon She Departed this life on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at the Aiken Regional Medical Center. At an early age she accepted Jesus Christ at Tabernacle Baptist Church and sang on the Hayden Gospel Choir and the Tabernacle Gospel and Senior Choir. Carrie was employed with the Aiken County Public School system for 15 years and was later employed at the US Post Office in Wagener, SC. Those left to cherish her memory are four children, Willie (Earlian) Cannon, Rosa B. Tyler, Fernando (Joan) Cannon and Gina Denny all of Wagener, SC; One sister M. Hattie Bell Harris; Grandchildren, Darryl Tyler, Yolanda TuBazza, Oiosha Griffin, Sabrina Robinson, Inga Cannon, Tiffani Cannon, Alaine Duke, Kanelia Cannon, Rocky Cannon and Earl Cannon; Great-grandchildren Jonta, Dee, Tre, Daneatrian, Quam, Jayda, Ethan, Jordan, Ian, Atear, Ardan; one Great-great grand Javen, four sister in laws, nieces, nephews, and many other family members and friends.

Service Information

VISITATION The family will be accepting friends and visiters at the J.H. Robinson Funeral Home, 190 Railroad Ave., Wagener, SC on Saturday September 8, 2012 between the hours of 3 and 7 pm. FUNERAL Funeral services for Ms. Carrie Lou Cannon will be held on Sunday, September 9 2012 4:00pm at the Tabernacle Baptist Church, 607 Kestrel Drive, Batesburg-Leesville, SC.
