Mrs Carolyn Harris Brown, born December 26, 1951 to the late Estelle Boyd, and Jake Penda, received her heavenly wings on August 24, 2017 after a brief illness. Carolyn was born in Columbia, SC and received her early education in the New York public school system. She later moved to Columbia, SC and continued her career in accounting. In 1977 Carolyn dedicated her life to Jehovah and remained a loyal servant. Carolyn was preceded in death by her mother Estelle Boyd, Father Jake Penda, and her brother Fredrick Boyd. Carolyn leaves to cherish her memories her Son, Luther M. Harris III, one sister Corinthia (Teet) Thomas of NY, one brother Jerry (Rose) Davis, 9 grandchildren Domonique, Tarene, Lamik (Corinthia), Brittany, Malik, Jazmyn, Sasha, Dordan and Luther IV; 13 great grands, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Service Information

The family of Mrs. Carolyn Harris Brown will be accepting friends at the J.H. Robinson Funeral Home, 701 Hendrix St., Lexington, SC on August 31, from 3 to 7 pm. There will be a memorial service held for Mrs Carolyn Brown on Friday, September 1, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1461 Pisgah Church Rd, Lexington, SC 29072
