Mr. Carl Phillips was born on July 13, 1955 to the late Harold and Carretha Phillips in Pelion, SC. He entered into eternal rest on July, 29, 2025 at the age of 70 years old.

Carl was affectionately known as "Boa Dilly". He was one of seventeen children. Carl lived a free spirited life. He loved his family and friends and his children. He loved to sing and joke with people. He absolutely loved life and lived it the "Boa Dilly" way.

Along with his parents, Carl was preceded in death by eight brothers and three sisters.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories are, his two daughters; Carretha Renee Phillips of Washington, DC and Pazzion Williams of Lexington, SC; three grandchildren; one brother, Bobby (Patricia) Phillips of Pelion, SC; five sisters, Annette Tolen (Charlie) of Edgefield, SC, Joan Phillips of West Columbia, SC, Delores Mavins of Columbia, SC, Edna Phillips of Pelion, SC and Mary Robins (Clyde) Smith of Aiken, SC, along with and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
