Life Reflections Of Brooker T. Jones "May the Lord repay you for what you have done. May you be richly rewarded by the Lord." Ruth 2:12 (NIV) Today, we bow in humble submission to thank you Lord for the birth of Brooker T Jones on November 15, 1942 to the late Pink Jones and Daisy Tyler Jones. On Wednesday morning, November 20, 2013, he peacefully and gracefully departed his life on this earth and entered into his new home with Jesus forever at the Aiken Regional Medical Center in Aiken, SC. We thank you God for giving Brooker T Jones the desire to accept God as his personal Savior early in life. He joined Friendship Baptist Church in Salley, South Carolina and was a former trustee. He was educated in Aiken County Public Schools and graduated from A.L. Corbett High School in Wagener, South Carolina in 1965. On February 6, 1966, he married the love of his life, Mary M. Jones. They were blessed with two precious children. Brooker T was drafted into the United States Marine Corps on March 6, 1967 and was wounded in the Vietnam War. He received the Purple Heart and many other rewards. He attended Augusta Technical College where he received his certification as an electrician. He was employed with Owens/ Corning FIBERGLASS Plant in Aiken, SC for 35 years. Brooker T's memories will be cherished and remembered by his loving and devoted wife, Mary (Mae). His precious and adorable children: Daughter Trailcee S Jones of Aiken, SC and son Tyrone B Jones (Tonya) of Beech Island, SC. Granddaughter Tyrecia B Jones. Brother, Pink Jones Jr (Brenda) of Wagener, SC. Three sisters, Kalmer Jones of Wagener, SC, Rosa L Jones and Willie M Jones of Willistin, SC. Special sister-in-law Elizabeth W Jenkins (Luther) and brother-in-law L.B. Woodword Jr (Ruth). He also leaves to cherish his memories many nieces, nephews, cousins, God-children, and friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers W. A. Jones and Gradia Jones and a sister, Lucille J Salley. Special thanks to Josh Hayes who is like our own son. Thank you to Doug Hale and Jeremy Wise for being there for us.

Service Information

The family of Brooker T Jones will be receiving visitation on Saturday, November 23, 2013 from 3-7PM at J. H. Robinson Funeral Home. 190 Railroad Ave, Wagener, SC. A going home service will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at 2:00 PM. It will be held at Friendship Baptist Church located at 194 Green Acres Rd in Salley, SC.
