Branch Chandler, affectionately known as 'Sugar Boy', was born to the Late Rev. James and Izolia Lowe Chandler. Branch Chandler was born in Aiken County, South Carolina on October 27, 1933. He departed from this earth on September 1, 2020.

Branch Chandler united in Holy Matrimony to the Late Jessie Mae Brown Chandler in 1954. To this union, four children were born.

Chandler was a faithful and dedicated Deacon at Ocean Grove Baptist Church for many years until his health failed.

Chandler was preceded in death by: Son, Kenneth Chandler; Daughter, Izolia Isaac; Five Brothers, Raymond, Rev. Everette, James, Wesley, Joh Quincy; One Sister, Amanda Mason; devoted wives, Hattie R. Chandler and Catherine G. Chandler.

Chandler leaves behind to cherish his loving memories: Daughter, Min. Viola (Clarence) Williams; Son, Dennis Chandler; Three Grandchildren, Donna Isaac, Rosetta Green, and Mitch (Shirley) Isaac; Four Sisters, Diane Chandler, Sadie Counts, Ida Landy, and Olia Chandler; Five Brothers, Rosco (Diane) Chandler, Randolph (Eliza) Chandler, Rev. Douglas (Rose) Chandler, Rev. Robert (Deborah) Chandler, Ruldolph Chandler ; Six In Laws, Mildred Chandler, Evonne Briggs, Margaret Gantt, Marian Brown, and Clarence Brown. He also leaves behind a host of step children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
