Mr. Blaine Tyler, Sr. was born on April 21, 1957, to the late Marion Tyler and Mrs. Daisy Bell Jacob Tyler in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He peacefully left this life to join his Heavenly Home on July 13, 2026. 

Blaine was a proud graduate of Wagener-Salley High School in Wagener, SC, and remained a dedicated member of Chalk Hill Baptist Church throughout his life.

In 1979, Blaine married the love of his life, Irene Cannon. Together, they created a warm and nurturing home, filled with love, as they raised their children and grandchildren. 

With a strong work ethic, Blaine spent many fulfilling years at ICON in Lexington, SC, before retiring in 2019. He also worked in Graniteville and at Wagener Manufacturing Company. Known for his cheerful demeanor and kind smile, Blaine was deeply cherished by his family and friends. His passion for cars was a defining part of his life. 

In his leisure time, Mr. Tyler enjoyed watching his favorite shows, including Alf, The Golden Girls, and In The Heat of The Night. 

Along with his parents, Blaine was preceded in death by three brothers, Modoc Tyler, James Willie Davis and Eugene Williams; and one sister, Brenda Lee Tyler. 

Mr. Blanie Tyler leaves to cherish his fond and loving memories his wife of the home, Irene Cannon Tyler; two daughters, Beverly Tyler and Tomekia (Ontwawn) Lewis; three sons, Wayne (Alysha) Cannon, Blaine (Shontae) Merrit and Blaine Tyler, Jr.; four brothers, Murray Tyler, Maryland (Patricia) Tyler, Reuben Tyler and Phillip Tyler; sisters, Mary Frances (Leon) Corley, Maeveen Tyler Tobin, Maxine E. Martin and Belvia Johnson; twenty grandchildren; Shontell, Alexis, Da’Myah, TaNyah, Zyasia, Chnavtica, Jaliyah, Raylin, Ke’Air, Jasmine, O’Nalia, Rayne, Kiylah, Raquavious and Kaiden; reared in the home; Ja’Lonzio, Alexandria, Kierra, Ja’Quez, Ja’Nyah and Qua’sean, eleven great grandchildren; two Godsons, Lawrence Phillips, Fernando R. Cannon and; along with a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
