Azalee Tyler Curry, daughter of the late Isadore Tyler and the late Clara Hall, transitioned to her heavenly home on August 28, 2024.
Azalee was born in Orangeburg County, South Carolina, and attended the public schools of both Orangeburg and Aiken Counties. She Joined Samaria Baptist Church at an early age and later became a member of Sardis Baptist Church where she sang on the Sardis Senior Choir.
Azalee was employed at Salley Manufacturing and worked at a textile plant until she retired. She cherished volunteering as a classroom grandmother to be near her grandkids when they started school at Salley HeadStart.
Azalee was preceded in passing by her parents; spouse, Robert Curry; Son in law Earl Danley; Siblings, Louis Reed, Rena Green Pearline Wheeler, Clara Tyler, Isadore Tyle Jr. John Tyler, Van Tyler and T. J. Tyler.
Azalee leaves to cherish the memories of the life she lived 4 daughters, Martenzie (William) James of Springfield, SC, Alfreda Danley of Salley, SC, Michelle (Moses) Johnson of Salley, SC and Sandra (Chris) Widener of Wagener, SC; 2 bonus sons John (Crilla) Tyler Jr of Morristown, TN and Edward Williams of Burlington, VT; 1 sister Linda Anderson of Salley, SC; 7 grandchildren Candrice James of Aiken, SC, William James III of Springfield, SC, Caine Widener, Justin Widener, and Jordan Widener all of Wagener, SC, Erica Danley, and Arielle Danley of Orangeburg, SC and a host of other family members and friends.
