Andrew Thompson was born August 5, 1938 to the late Hampton and Lonnie Bell Thompson. He departed this life on January 31, 2018 following an extended illness. Andrew was a member of the Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Salley, South Carolina. He will be remember for his kind spirit; he was someone who never met a stranger. He was united in holy matrimony to the late Gloria Jean Thompson. Those left t cherish his memories are: five children, Makeba Barrie of Reading, Pennsylvania, William (Patricia) Thompson of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Jeffery (Belinda) Thompson of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, Kakesha Green of Elgin, Illinois, Latasha Green of Hoffman Estates, Illinois; two grandchildren, Jayon Thompson McGee, and Antwanne Thompson; one great grandson, Tonias Trevon McGee, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.

VISITATION: The Thompson family will be receiving friends and well wishers on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 from 4-7 PM at the J. H. Robinson Funeral Home, 190 Railroad Avenue West Wagener, SC 29164. FUNERAL: The home-going services for Mr. Andrew B. Thompson will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the J. H. Robinson Funeral Home, Wagener, SC 29164, starting at 3:00 PM.
