On February 23, 2019 the Almighty God reached down with a hand of love and gently claimed his child. Mae Ellison, was born on October 3, 1932 to the Late Frank and Blanche Brown. She later married the love of her life Callie Ellison, and to that union one son was born, Calvin Ellison.
Mae worked more than 30 years in Columbia, at Silvers Department store, where she worked as a cook. She loved cooking and enjoyed seeing everyone fed. She loved spending time with her son Calvin and granddaughters Kiliah and Stacey, and although she had no daughters, Mary Ellison was like her daughter.
