On Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, SC, Mr. Harry Stevenson “Steve” Younginer, son of the late Joseph Conrad and Ella Rose Younginer of Lexington, South Carolina entered into eternal rest.
Steve joined the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church at an early age.
Steve received his education and graduated from Rosenwald High School, in Lexington, SC, with the Class of 1967. Steve served in the United States Army and the National Guard Armory; for a total of 22 years. Steve was employed with Carolina Steel and Wire for 30 plus years. Steve was a former member of the America Legion Post 217.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by, infant twin boys, a brother, Don; and son Kelvin Stevenson Younginer.
Steve leaves to mourn his passing: his loving wife, Tiny and a daughter, Keri Younginer, one paternal grandson, Justin; two maternal granddaughters, Brooklyn and Braylin; and step-grandchildren; three brothers, Jacob Younginer (Josephine), of Stockbridge, GA; Joseph (Bertha) Younginer of Lexington, SC, Larry (Vivian) Younginer of Fayetteville, GA; two sisters, Amanda (Vincent) Taylor and Yvonne (Craig) Byrd, both of Lexington, SC; one sister-in-law, Barbara (Abraham) Leaphart, of Lexington, SC. Steve leaves a host of nieces, nephew, cousins, and friends.
